The other day I working on a document for BlogCamp Kerala 2008 when I found that I needed to convert a document into pdf as soon as possible. There were many available pdf to word/doc convertors online, but most of them had watermarks added to the file which was something I could not with since it was a professional document.
After a little search, I came across the Microsoft Word 2007 plugin which did export word documents as pdf. It was not validating my Office as genuine due to some reason. 🙁 I had almost given up hope when I stumbled across the official Adobe site which lets you create 5 pdf conversions for one account signup. Something of the kind that makes me want to scream “Save my privacy!!”. Anyways, I told them to BugMeNot and I got my stuff done.
The only downside of this service was that it did not convert the images very well. I can remember a software that latched itself to my print menu and allowed me to print it as pdf in Office 2003. Which site/software do you guys use for doc to pdf conversion?
