I am a big fan of testing ad units, primarily because it lets me find the best placements for a website. I think everyone looking forward to put in adunits to make money online in their sites should do it once the sites reaches 500+ visitors a day.
You should have seen this Google adsense heatmap by Google, which according to them should give you the right clicks on your site. But not every site has the same placements and the same audience, so testing and tweaking are the only ways you can increase your adsense revenue.

I ask myself this question every once in a while. I remember overhearing in deep sleep in some audiobook – “Any that requires you to work from morning to evening is not a business, but it is a job.” I am a great fan of this phrase. It is common sense yet when you think about it, it is dangerously powerful.
I am not exactly suggesting that you outsource all your work and sit back home munching chips and drowning cola, but if you have a part of business which is essential to the business, but not worth your effort, OUTSOURCE. I remember a tweet by Mani Karthik where he said something on the lines which meant Anyone can outsource to anyone, thats the beauty of the internet.

Why Massive Scaled up Niche Websites? What is the Strategy, boss?

I currently have..err..so many of them that I dnt even remember how many, I get this question like everyday. Every other person I meet usually decides to start with one massive site with everything from Apples to Zebras, and I quitely smile to myself and try to explain that its not just right to do so.

A lot of people keep asking me advice on how to make money online because they are bored, broke, in college or laid off or married. I usually reply with adsense, affiliate lead generation and product sales in that order. But after they learn all this, they never make money. Why?

Today a friend of mine Nomar pinged me up on chat and challenged me to do a competition to create a low mantainance niche blog on a topic and make money off it with adsense. Though I see some good money with affiliates, adsense has been my favourite way of earning. It is low work, consistant returns and long term money maker.
I get a lot of questions about making money with adsense and online in general and SEO and stuff. So, I thought I would take a clue and build a site with you guys and show you first hand on how it is done.

When I was starting my money online ventures almost 3 years(woo, the anniversary is comin up!) back I had adsense on my personal site in geocities and stuck up adsense chunks on all the three pages of my site and was waiting for revenue to roll in. But then, if you have had your hands dirty with adsense, you probably now know that it does not work that way

I got my account activated on the 3rd of November 2005. And that was my first years income on adsense! But unlike most others, I did not quit
Currently making a decent money on adsense, I guess I can talk about a few reasons why you do not make anything out of your adsense sites.

Last month Google opened up their adsense for feeds for the public and I had tried to add my feeds, but I had to move all my feeds from feedburner to google feedburner. I had requested for the switch and forgot about it. Yesterday I got their mail about the confirmation of the transfer of feeds.
Hello TheAnand,
Success! As you requested, we have migrated your FeedBurner account to your requested Google Account.
You may now access all of your feeds by visiting this address:

I am some sort of a pioneer in making money online my friends circle. Initially I used to persuade my friends to make money online, but these days I am persuading them to start blogging. So far I have succeeded in converting one to blogging religion but he is not actually blogging for the right reasons. Ahh Well! The other managed to get a site, hopefully soon he will be a convert.
Since in the past year that I have started blogging, it has become some sort of a addiction, a private place in the public domain to shout about anything and everything. Blogging is such a great experience that….eh? My Firefox Spell check says blogging is not even a word!

I have not been very successful with affliate programs in the web world, so I recently took up a affliate agency program with a bank here who pay per sale. I know it sounds pretty cheapass, but every penny of money counts and the way I am planning to make money is a mixture of online and offline marketing for the product. I am not really willing to let you know what the thing is, but its a banking product, but not insurance.
