Written in one of those moments when I thought – “This is definitely going in my blog!”.

Brilliant man the person was…the person above – Mr. Albert Einstein.

The theory of relativity is something I always found fascinating. It is deep when you think about it in your life. It is used by everyone when every they are expressing something.

I very recently got introduced to a person via a common friend as a “Successful Entrepreneur”. I was flattered obviously, but beyond that I was thinking about relativity at that point. This person who has introduced me is not an entrepreneur and does not know even the specifics of my business, but he considered me successful (flattery or real).

BarCampKerala is special for me. I found the other founders of ayruz through barcamp 2 and almost 90% of our core team members were found during various barcamps from colleges.

BarCamp Kerala is an ad-hoc gathering rooted in the desire to share and learn in an open & friendly environment. It is an intense yet cool, event with discussions, demos, and strong interactions. The 9th edition of BarCamp Kerala (BCK9), will be held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus at Karunagapally on 14th November 2010.

I am a big fan of Todo lists partially due to the fact that I like to keep my mind clear from things to do on a daily basis. I had been trying various methods of organizing my todo lists using softwares like Tudomo, GTDAgenda and even had our developer at ayruz to create a custom todo app for us.

Recently I came across a in-your-face dead simple way to manage your todo using Excel and boy was it excellent!

Believe it or not, I never relied extensively on my browsers’ dictionary to spell the word – entrepreneurship until recently when I started to fill up my profiles on the web. As with everyone, with frequent usage I learnt the word without having to wait for the wavy red underline.

Someday is not a day of the week.

I have been meaning to update this blog “someday soon”. “Procrastination”  is the word I learnt. It was true. “Someday” never came over the past few months and this blog sat around ignored by its own author. While there are stats about how many blogs are started every hour, there has to be a similarly surprising numbers of blogs which just hang around stagnant.

A question on LinkedIn Group Young Indian Entrepreneurs asks:

If you were to pick one trait of a successful entrepreneur what would it be?

What is the most essential quality one should have to be an entrepreneur. Passion, Self confidence, Risk taking ability, Visonary etc. etc. But if you have to pick up one trait which defines an entrepreneur what would it be and why?
So chip in and let’s find out what’s that?

An answer by Ravi Shete is pretty well worth a read:

Finally I did it! I am now a proud owner of a Dell XPS M1330 which has a 3G internet connectivity and a GPS too! I was initially not able to get the GPS working and finally after a bit more of tinkering with the wires, it has finally managed to lock in on satellites.

I can now use my laptop to navigate around places and even track my location on my screen. It also provides some other nice goodies like speed, elevation and the like.

I have not been this excited about a hardware purchase in recent times! I recently bought myself a Option GTM378 PCIe card which adds 3G and GPS capabilities to my Dell XPS m1330 laptop.

Features of my Option GTM378 card

  • PCI Express MiniCard module with HSDPA 3.6 / 7.2 support
  • Easy to integrate
  • High speed: up to 7.2 Mbps
  • Multimode HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS and GSM
  • Extended Feature set: GPS and Voice
