If you have been reading my blog for over a month now, you might remember how my computer ran into trouble in April, erasing all the files in my PC and then I had to start everything afresh right from the scratch. Was I frustrated? Yes, and yes a million times! Everyone hates having their PC run into problems and having all their data erased.
This is where software like Active File Recovery comes into the scene. This software provides users with the ability to recover deleted data from the empty recycle bin, files lost due to a mistaken format of the hard disk, files lost by virus attack or even recover files that are lost during a power failure.
Besides the ability to recover deleted files, this interesting program will recover files after a disk partition loss, format or damage. This could have been very useful for me if I had known about this software in times of my trouble. Also the Active File Recovery Enterprise installation package comes with a CD/DVD ISO image, which you can burn into a CD or a DVD along with a light weight Windows Vista installation which can be used to recover data from machines that refuse to boot properly.
All in all Active File Recovery is a must have utility if you are a victim of frequent data loss and need a permanent solution to all your recovery needs instead of having to run to the nearby recovery specialist with your hard disk every time this happens! 
But software cannot be all praises all the way, can it? But after using this software for a while, the only problem I had with it was the slow load times, it might be something related to its powerful scan and recover process, but even then the wait was well worth it. The software was able to recover a few files which I had deleted from the hard disk using Shift-Delete, bypassing the Recycle Bin. So, if you have any problems with your data being lost, give this data recovery software a try.
