Usually advice and technology news blogs are galore all over the internet but its difficult to get a name for yourself in this niche. The market is usually lead by the biggies like TechCrunch or Gizmodo or others. But then, I do not subscribe to these sites, mainly cuz they have at least 10-30 posts a day and its usually everything about technology in hardware, software and gadgets.

N-Gage QD - A long time User Review

The N-Gage QD has been the first phone in my life. I have been a faithful user of the N-gage QD since I bought it in last Feb. ‘06. I bought it after reviewing almost half a dozen phones in the market. It had almost everything I needed like a Symbian OS, MMC Support, Truetones, out-of-ordinary looks, ease of use and the sturdiness of a military device. It has been almost a year now, good time for writing a review on the long time use of a phone, right? But unfortunately the phone is no longer available in the market and there are rumours that there will not be a part-3 of the N-Gage Series.

Coming Soon > N-Gage 3rd Edition!

Nokia LogoNokia seems to be in a serious mood to compete in the hand-held gaming market with Nintendo and Sony. The initial try with the N-Gage was almost a complete failure, it was a piece of “junk” as many called it.

Though the first N-Gage sold far less than what the company expected, there was loads that they could learn from the whole experience. The first device tried too hard to please everyone, it had a mp3 player, a FM radio, a gaming console and a cell-phone feature which looked like it was added up to the design in the last minute as an after-thought. Its use as a phone earned it the nickname - “Elephant Ears” for its awkward holding position.
