Though it seems like yesterday, its been
about a year now since I left Airtel to concentrate on my studies and the Internet. I always loved working there and had great confidence and pride that we were the best in the market.

No offense to Tata, VSNL and BSNL/Asianet (that is, if they can be called competition ;)), but Airtel has simply time and again
proved their best with great products and customer service.
This time, they came out with a Rs. 750/- broadband unlimited(256kbps) with 50 local call pulses! I was using the unlimited 64kbps plan with about Rs. 399 month and changed it to the new plan. I did search unsuccessfully if anyone else has a comparable offer to this.
Yay Airtel!
I have been using my Yahoo! Mail account since the late 90’s and am sort of a fan to their new Yahoo! Mail beta, which is a AJAX powered mailbox meaning you will never have page loads again! I agree it is sort of cranky in the slower connections, but with my Airtel Broadband power, impossible is nothing (Yea, I worked in Airtel, so am biased!).
This is my follow up post to my Free Airtel Recharge Hacks which has been very successful in bringing in some search traffic due to some unknown reason. Since it was nothing but a stupid joke which I got from a friend, I thought of bringing in some value to that post.
Airtel has been a very successful company in the Telecom Industry in India, providing innovative services and other value addition to the customer. Also Airtel is a hot topic in most Indian forums, due to its easter eggs. You never know what you will stumble into when you dive in.
I am a active user of the social community Orkut, not simply because its a Google company, but due to the fact of its simple yet addictive social networking capabilities. The other day Pallab was telling me that Orkut is not the most popular network in the internet. MySpace is indeed the biggest, but then this trend of social networking is new in India and it is only likely that with a simple interface and a good sticky service called scrapping, Orkut soon becomes the favoured site of the teens in India. Indians constitute around 14% of the total user base of Orkut as of now. Not a bad number at all.
