Today you are going to read about one of my top secret tools – The Google Insights and how I use it to find new niches to dominate. Google being one of the biggest search players, it is important to follow up and use every Google Keyword tool to research your niche. I have been using Google Insights for about 6-12 months now and it is definitely a great way to micro-target keywords and their trends. Also, recently I started using them to get ideas for new niches to target as I am getting out of niches to dominate!

So, how do I do it?For one, I am always mentally prepared to write content for my blogs as I know my niches well and I get ideas for posts mostly in the shower or in a place where I have no internet access. I use my mobile to jot in content ideas and sync them up. And two, I have a fairly good typing speeds of 65 wpm. So, lets start off!
1. OpenĀ up Google or your favourite article source site and search for the topic you are going to write about. Open up 3-5 pages.

I had been talking about getting into affiliate marketing for sometime now and one of the main hurdles I faced about 6 months back was that TheAnand was my biggest site and the blog brought in bulk of the traffic. I tried applying for a few affiliate programs and most of them rejected me since the site was in a sub-domain. Here is a tip, next time you plan to build a big long term site, do it on the main domain, not on a sub-domain!! I learnt this the hard way.
