Orkut Javascript Fun:Hacks

I am a active user of the social community Orkut, not simply because its a Google company, but due to the fact of its simple yet addictive social networking capabilities. The other day Pallab was telling me that Orkut is not the most popular network in the internet. MySpace is indeed the biggest, but then this trend of social networking is new in India and it is only likely that with a simple interface and a good sticky service called scrapping, Orkut soon becomes the favoured site of the teens in India. Indians constitute around 14% of the total user base of Orkut as of now. Not a bad number at all.

Getting into the meat of things, since last month I started collecting javascripts which does cool things like make the images fly around, see rainbow text and all those. To use these you simply have to past the script in the addressbar of the orkut page for the function to execute.

Feel a loss of words? Try this script for posting a blank post:

1) Open any scrapbook.
2) Write [i] in the scrapbook.
3) Do NOT write anything else in the scrapbook, and submit the scrap.
That’s all.
NOTE:
You can also use [b] tag instead of [i] tag
You can also use this method to post a blank entry in any community forum.

Got a bad name? Want to hide it?

1) Click on edit profile
2) Type ALT + 0173 in your first name and last name. (i.e. Type 0173 while pressing the ALT key of your keyboard.)
3) Click on Update

THE ORKUT SCRAPBOOK FLOODER.

This will insert scraps into your targets scrapbook and keep post numerics from 1 to…well you decide.
