AGLOCO Dead: May Your soul rest in pieces!

AGLOCO is officially DEAD. No, it was not a SCAM!So, its official today, AGLOCO is a dead horse project. All that hype claiming to make you money for surfing the Internet and all that hard work you guys put in for getting referrals and accumulating are hereby declared worthless!

My first reaction was a smile when I got this email. I was expecting this anytime since its been a while since they updated their blog, sent a newsletter or did even try to get back members to use their viewbar thing after they declared payout in 10 years! That was outright right there nonsense from them when they said that. I know it takes time to start profiting out of any business online or offline, but 10 years is a tad tooo long! But I am glad they informed their members about the death with dignity and did not shy away from it.

This afternoon, this was the email from the AGLOCO team:

Dear Anand,

We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at [email protected] .

We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.

AGLOCO Development Team

They did things the wrong way right from the start, by delaying the viewbar, by limiting the hours that can be earned, by not really getting more advertisers and the final great blunder by declaring a payment of ~30 cents in 10 years! and all that. It was a innovative idea nevertheless. So long AGLOCO, I will certainly miss you since you were responsible for a good traffic AGLOCO scam post and a highly commented one on this blog. May your soul rest in pieces!

I am now trying to figure out how to delete my personal information from agloco before they try to sell it and recover the operational costs. And I apologize to all my refferals, about 50 of you guys and advice you to do the same thing!
